The capital of Colombia has instances to locate and respond to unforeseen incidents and emergencies immediately.
The primary assistance mechanism is the 123 hotline. Through this telephone channel, any emergency reported in the city can be attended to promptly and agilely.
However, several emergency lines support the assistance in Bogota, such as:

Likewise, the Center for Command, Control, Communications and Computing (C4) is another robust body that handles coexistence, citizen security, environmental and health incidents in Bogotá. The C4 is supported by the 123 hotline, the citizen video surveillance system, several communication systems, civic participation networks, manned and unmanned aerial support equipment, information and analysis systems, and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
The C4 also works with entities such as the Risk Management and Climate Change District Institute (Idiger), the Official Fire Department, the Health Secretariat, the National Police, the Women's District Secretariat and the Mayor's Office of Bogotá.
