LIBÉLULA DORADA BLUES AND JAZZ FESTIVAL

The first Libélula Dorada Blues and Jazz Festival was launched in 1998, lasting two and a half months, as a result of a growing movement of groups of these musical genres in Bogotá. During all these years, a growing audience has been formed and qualified through different cultural initiatives.

It seeks to emphasize the importance and evolution of these musical genres in the country, as well as to foster and promote new groups that, together with those already established, allow them to show and increase their experience.

Rodrigo Cuevas, Spain - La romería

The Spanish artist Rodrigo Cuevas is a musical and performing arts phenomenon. He has collaborated with artists such as Rozalén, iLE, Vicente Navarro, and Clara Peya. In his studio albums, he has been known for giving folk music from Asturias, in northern Spain, an important place in the sounds of the world by making it interact with electronic music, humor, sensuality, and social criticism.

The show will present his most recent album, "Manual de romería," produced by the Puerto Rican Eduardo Cabra, in a performance that will break with all the previous imaginary.
