National Symphonic Orchestra of Colombia and National Choir of Colombia - Creole Gala

Singers Katie James, Idwer Álvarez, Ernesto Morillo, and charanguista Carlos Calvache, join the Symphony Orchestra and the National Choir of Colombia to perform, along with guest conductor Luis Gorelik. São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra "Latin America"

The OSESP (São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra) will be the star guest at the VII International Classical Music Festival of Bogotá. They are set to perform a concert featuring "La noche de los mayas" by Silvestre Revueltas and "Ameriques" by Edgard Varèse. Additionally, they will showcase Hekel Tavares' "Violin Concerto in Brazilian Forms," featuring violinist Guido Sant'Anna.

Julieth Lozano, Betty Garcés, Ramón Vargas, and the Philharmonic Youth Choir will join the city’s orchestra, under the direction of conductor Roger Díaz-Cajamarca, to celebrate the VII International Classical Music Festival of Bogotá with a lyrical gala featuring works by eleven composers from the United States and Latin America.

Launch of the 58th Vallenato Legend Festival

Each year, the Vallenato Legend Festival creates a folkloric, cultural, and musical record to preserve and promote classic Vallenato music. This important folkloric event features the vallenato kings, queens of the accordion, and participants in the piquería, all of whom contribute to the musical joy of the festival. In 2025, the festival will celebrate its 58th edition, showcasing performances through the accordion, drum, guacharaca, songs, and verses.

Bogotá Baroque Ensemble: "J.S. Bach: lo mísitico y lo fulgurante en su obra concertante'". Guest Conductor: Sigiswald Kuijken, violin, Belgium

The Bogotá Baroque Ensemble, one of Colombia's leading historical performance ensembles, will present a program featuring the renowned guest conductor and violinist Sigiswald Kuijken. This concert will focus on the esteemed baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. The ensemble will perform several of his works, including the “Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major,” the “Violin Concerto in A minor,” the “Concerto for Two Violins in D minor,” and the “Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D major.”

The National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia will host a concert featuring two talented young soloists: the Italian-Japanese violinist Yume Zamponi, who recently won the “Andrea Postacchini” International Competition in her category, and the Israeli cellist Danielle Akta, who has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Slovak National Symphony, among others. The concert will showcase works by Teresa Catalán and Johannes Brahms.

Three outstanding musicians residing in Colombia—Valeriano Lanchas (bass), Aníbal Dos Santos (violist), and Sergei Sichkov (pianist)—come together to perform two works by the German composer Johannes Brahms. They will showcase the "Sonata No. 1 y No. 2 para viola and piano", as well as "Dos Canciones para Voz, Viola y Piano" and "Cuatro Canciones Serias." The latter is Brahms's penultimate work, in which he expresses the profound grief caused by the death of Clara Schumann.
