Each year, the Vallenato Legend Festival creates a folkloric, cultural, and musical record to preserve and promote classic Vallenato music. This important folkloric event features the vallenato kings, queens of the accordion, and participants in the piquería, all of whom contribute to the musical joy of the festival. In 2025, the festival will celebrate its 58th edition, showcasing performances through the accordion, drum, guacharaca, songs, and verses.
This year's presentation will bring together the vallenato kings and queens of 2024, who will offer the Bogotá audience a glimpse into this vibrant musical culture, a vital part of Colombia's identity. Additionally, there will be a heartfelt tribute to the late Vallenato king, Omar Geles.
