In a 2-hour tour, we will explain the punishment stone, the atrial cross, and the doctrinal church of Sàchica. These monuments tell us about the time of the Spanish conquest of these lands and take us back to the 16th and 17th centuries when the encounter of the Spanish and indigenous worlds took place in Sáchica.
This complex is located in the only park planted with olive trees in Colombia: the Park of Sáchica. We will walk along cobblestone paths until we reach Calvary Mountain, a place full of stories and legends and a source of pliosaur fossils.
From there, we will have a unique panoramic view of the valley of Sàchica and its village, breathe fresh air, and contemplate the landscape. It is a short tour of high historical, ecological, and paleontological value.
It is possible to have a picnic in the Olive Orchard (The Gethsemane of Sáchica).
