From May 7 to 10, Bogotá will become the Latin American hub of food innovation with the Food Design Fest 2025, an unprecedented event that unites creativity, tradition, sustainability, and technology around the act of eating.
Under the slogan “Biodiversity: The Taste Memory of the Future,” the festival invites a deep exploration of the territory through its flavors, knowledge, and native species. It is not merely a gastronomic event; it serves as a call to rediscover food as a cultural experience, a political act, and an opportunity for social transformation.
Talks, workshops, exhibitions, an interdisciplinary hackathon, sensory experiences, and the prestigious FOODA Awards make up a vibrant agenda that invites academics, designers, gourmets, chefs, producers, creatives, and citizens to imagine together new possible futures from food.
With more than 40 national and international guests from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela, and from key cities in the country such as Medellin, Bucaramanga, Pasto, Cartagena and Pereira. Food Design Fest 2025 amplifies voices, knowledge and proposals that build a fairer, more diverse and sustainable food system.
Open to the public upon registration, the event will be held at AREANDINA, a strategic partner, and aims to serve as a platform for impactful dialogue across the continent.
