The park is in the La Cabrera neighborhood, between Carrera Séptima and Autopista Norte, along Calle 88. It is a green lung of the city, a beautiful corridor through which the waters of the creek of the same name flow.
Breathing its air and being surrounded by its trees and meadows invites you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and recognize the importance of environmental action. The park offers a variety of fun activities, such as practicing sports, walking with your pet, spending time with your partner, or having a picnic.
This 8.2-kilometer park is recognized as a space for ecology and passive recreation. It features a network of bike paths, six children's areas, three pedestrian trails, and more than 12 small squares, allowing visitors to enjoy a diverse range of animal species. If you observe carefully during your visit, you may spot 71 bird species, including 32 migratory ones; 20 species of pollinating flower flies; 4 species of dragonflies; 20 types of butterflies; 2 species of bats; 10 kinds of bees; 4 species of hummingbirds; and 2 species of owls.
The park features some of its most popular areas, including the "Plazoleta de las Flores" and the "Gran Cascada" sculpture, created by the Colombian artist Edgar Negret. Due to its size and the various activities hosted there, this park is undeniably a tourist attraction in the city, comparable to Central Park in New York.

You can reach the destination by taking the TransMilenio and getting off at the El Virrey Station on Autopista Norte. Alternatively, you can use the SITP system along Carrera 15, Carrera 11, or Carrera 7 and get off at Calle 87.
