The Park Way is an avenue approximately 800 meters long, lined with urapan trees brought from Argentina. As one of the first boulevard-style avenues, it was built around 1950 in the La Soledad neighborhood of the Teusaquillo locality. Initially, the 'Bogotá Futuro' initiative aimed to restructure and expand the existing road network, establishing avenues with roadways separated by a central tree-lined area.

This ‘boulevard path,’ located on Carrera 24 between Calle 36 and Calle 45, features pedestrian walkways, green areas, and bike lanes. These elements have transformed the area into a recreational and cultural space, perfect for enjoying the shade of various trees, including tall oaks, eucalyptus, and tropical ashes.

The Park Way is an inspiring destination, with houses and building facades that preserve the charm of bygone eras, with an English style reminiscent of the cloth suits and long dresses worn by the capital's citizens in the 1940s. It has served as location for several movies and soap operas.  The cultural scene in the area is vibrant, with notable venues such as the National Theater, which is known as the birthplace of the Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá, established in the late 1980s, and the Casa E Theater, formerly the Arlequín Theater, which has been renewed as a performing arts center. At Calle 37 is the monument to Admiral José Prudencio Padilla, you can find the monument to Admiral José Prudencio Padilla, commemorating his role in the naval battles during the national struggle for independence.

It is considered a unique, bohemian, and authentic place to explore, featuring a kilometer of bike lanes on both sides. Gastronomy plays a significant role here, offering a diverse range of flavors from local specialties to international cuisines, including Greek, Pakistani, Indian, Italian, Swiss, and Peruvian dishes. The area also boasts a strong commercial presence, with banks, supermarkets, boutiques, bakeries, and cafés— the latter sure to delight visitors
