Joropo al Parque

The Festival celebrates the cultural richness of the Eastern Plains through the music and dance of joropo. This year, it brings together artists, groups, and dancers in a meeting space for the Llanera tradition. In 2024, Joropo al Parque attracted more than 43,000 attendees, demonstrating its success and solidifying its status as a gathering place that pays tribute to and highlights the most representative elements of Llanera culture.

How to get there?

• By private vehicle: To reach Bolívar Square by car, take either Carrera 8 or Carrera 6 to Calle 11. Keep in mind the downtown traffic and consider nearby parking options. 
• EBy TransMilenio: Take any route to the Museo del Oro Station (Line J) on the Caracas Trunk Line. After exiting the station, walk along Carrera séptima to Calle 11. 
• By SITP: Take a route near Carrera Séptima or Avenida Jiménez. Get off at a nearby stop, such as the stop at Carrera 7 and Calle 12 or one of the following stops near Bolívar Square: Plazoleta Del Rosario (Carrera 5—Calle 12b), Eje Ambiental (Carrera 4—Calle 12d), or Barrio Veracruz (Avenida Carrera 10—Cl 15).
