National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and National Choir of Colombia - “Resurrection” by Gustav Mahler

The National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and the National Choir of Colombia will perform Gustav Mahler's "Symphony No. 2", also known as "Resurrection," a choral symphony that depicts in its movements some existential and human questions about life and death. The conductor will be the American Arthur Fagen, and the soloists will be the Macedonian soprano Milena Arsovksa and the Colombian mezzo-soprano Andrea Niño. This concert will open the International Festival of Sacred Music of Bogotá.

How to get there?: 

• By private vehicle: if you are driving from the south to the north on Autopista Norte or Carrera Septima, you will need to turn onto Calle 169 and then head west on Avenida Boyacá. If you are coming from the north to the south, turn west onto Calle 170 until you reach the Cultural Center.
• If you are coming from south to north on Boyacá Avenue, you can take Calle 170 and then turn right. Two blocks ahead, you will find the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater.
• TransMilenio: Take any route of Line B that leaves you at the Portal Norte; there, you must take the feeder bus 2-7 San José and get off at the seventh stop.
• SITP: Take any route of Line B or C that leaves you at the stop Barrio San José V Sector (Calle 169b - Carrera 67). There, you will find the theater.
