Gran fondo de ciclismo de Bogotá by Egan Bernal

The first urban fund in Colombia arrives in Bogotá with a route of around 115 kilometers. “El Gran fondo de Ciclismo de Bogotá x Egan Bernal” will offer participants two routes: a “gran fondo” as the main event, around 115 kilometers, and a “medio fondo” around 60 kilometers, for those who want a less demanding experience but also enjoy this route through the city streets. Pedal through Bogotá and visit emblematic places of the city, starting at the Bolívar Square and continuing through 10 localities of the city, including Candelaria, Santa Fe, Chapinero, Usaquén, Suba, Engativá, Fontibón, Kennedy, Teusaquillo and Mártires.

How to get there?

• By private vehicle: To get to Bolívar Square, you can take Carrera 8 or Carrera 6 to Calle 11. Keep in mind the downtown traffic and consider nearby parking options.
• TransMilenio: Take any route that leads you to the Museo del Oro station (Line J) on the Troncal Caracas. Leave the station and walk along Carrera 7 to Calle 11.
• SITP: Take a route that goes near Carrera 7 or Avenida Jiménez. Get off at a nearby stop, for example, the stop at Carrera 7 and Calle 12 or one of the following stops near the Bolívar Square: Plazoleta Del Rosario (Carrera 5 - Calle 12b), 4 min walk, Eje Ambiental (Carrera 4 - Calle 12d), Br. Veracruz (Avenida Carrera 10 - Cl 15).
