The 41st edition of the Bogotá Film Festival will take place in 2024. This festival holds significant local, national, and international importance, aiming to incorporate contemporary digital themes from around the world. As the oldest film festival in the city, it plays a vital role in Bogotá's cultural sector.
At the international level, the festival will award the best film among the first three feature films of a director who hasn't yet made the fourth one. The winning film will receive the Pre-Columbian Circle in its Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories. The festival will also award the Gold Pre-Columbian Circle to the best director among the first three films, as well as to the best social, art, and environmental documentary. At the national level, the Golden Pre-Columbian Circle will be awarded to the Best Colombian Feature and Short Film.
The festival will include non-competitive screenings for International Short Film, Animation, Sacred Cinema, and Cinema for Children.
