TOUR OF THE ABANDONED TELECOM BUILDING

We invite you to a haunted building.

In the heart of the city center, there is an abandoned building that, although it may seem scary, the idea of exploring a place with paranormal stories can be exciting for some people.

Haunted buildings often have a rich history behind them, full of mystery and legends that can awaken our curiosity.

Before venturing into such a place, it is important to remember that safety is paramount.

Together, we will visit the iconic Monserrate for panoramic views of the city, stroll through La Candelaria streets, and discover Colombia's rich cultural heritage at the Gold Museum or the Botero Museum.

On the way, we will enjoy traditional local dishes and learn about the city's fascinating history with your local guide. 

1.  Monserrate is a Bogotá icon that rises majestically over the city. We will use the cable car/funicular to enjoy panoramic views of the capital and its surrounding mountains and visit the Sanctuary of the Fallen Lord, a place of pilgrimage and spirituality.
2. The historic Candelaria: You will walk along the cobblestone streets of this colonial neighborhood, admiring its traditional architecture with captivating stories about its past. We will visit the iconic Bolívar Square, surrounded by the Cathedral, the Capitol, and the Palace of Justice.

This is undoubtedly one of the best tourist attraction combinations near Bogotá. The day begins with a visit to the Guatavita Lake, known as the place where the Muiscas made the ritual that originated the El Dorado legend. This place has a stunning beauty that you can only understand by visiting it. Afterward, we cross the savannah to arrive at the Zipaquirá municipality. Here, you will visit the first wonder of Colombia, the Salt Cathedral, a place you should not miss when you come to Colombia.

Known as the first wonder of Colombia, it is entirely carved in salt and is unique in the country.

The Salt Cathedral —located 180 meters underground— will give you an out-of-the-ordinary experience. It was initially a mine where the workers created a small chapel; however, they never imagined that it would become a must-see attraction for visitors. 

Each step in the cathedral will surprise you, from the Way of the Cross to the Choir and a balcony from where you can appreciate the tallest underground cross in the world, which measures 16 meters high and 10 meters wide.

You will be the main character of this movie-like tour, set to incidental music. You will get lost in some of La Candelaria's most ancient and hidden streets and discover enigmatic and chilling places.

This fantastic tour takes us to 2 beautiful towns, where you will learn about the history of Colombia's independence. You will visit a 150 million-year-old fossil, the colonial town of Villa de Leyva, and Ráquira, which has existed since the time of the Muiscas and is the capital of handicrafts, and the Battle of Boyacá Bridge, too.
