Bogotá and Estéreo Picnic:

"Bogotá, your home," and the Estéreo Picnic join forces to welcome you to the "Creative City of Music," as recognized by UNESCO. This celebrated event, one of Latin America's most important music festivals, will take place from March 27 to 30 at Simon Bolivar Park. Alongside an impressive lineup of international artists, you can also explore our city's rich cultural, gastronomic, and entertainment offerings

What can you do before, during, and after enjoying performances by Alanis Morissette, Kei Linch, DJ Who, and Blond:Ish, among other guest artists at Estéreo Picnic? Depending on your time, you can make the most of your visit by complementing it with some tourist experiences you can explore at www.visitbogota.co

If you have a day to explore Bogotá, we recommend an itinerary starting with breakfast at local marketplaces such as La Perseverancia and La Concordia downtown. There, you can treat yourself to changua, a traditional broth made with milk, eggs, onion, and cilantro

Afterward, explore from more than 60 museums in the city. We recommend visiting the Gold Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, or the Botero Museum, all located in the city center. You can also stroll through Bolívar Square and the nearby colonial neighborhood of La Candelaria, full of cafes, restaurants, museums, and craft stores

For lunch, indulge in ajiaco santafereño, a chicken soup made with various types of potatoes, capers, and cream. You can find traditional restaurants serving this dish on Calle 11 between Carreras 7a and 6a, right next to Bolívar Square. In the afternoon, visit Monserrate Hill, one of the city's main attractions, for stunning views. For dinner, choose from an array of fine restaurants offering exquisite international cuisine in gastronomic districts like Zona T, Usaquén in the north of Bogotá, or Zona G—located between Calle 65 and Calle 76, above Carrera 7ª—or in Zona M and La Candelaria, which are in the city center.

To end your day, enjoy Bogotá's vibrant nightlife at one of the many bars and nightclubs scattered throughout the city. You can find all genres of music, from salsa and rock to electronic music. The areas most recommended for experiencing the capital's nightlife are Chapinero, Usaquén, and Zona T

Enjoy other plans

If you have two or more days in the city, we recommend a tour of the colonial neighborhood of Usaquén, located in the north. Here, you can savor traditional and international cuisine, explore art galleries, and relax in specialty coffee shops. Additionally, consider visiting Parque Mirador de Los Nevados, which offers a panoramic view of the city, located in Suba, in the same area. On a clear day, you can admire the Nevados del Ruiz and Tolima. To finish your day, head to Zona Rosa, where you'll find numerous terraces and entertainment places perfect for enjoying a delicious cocktail and experiencing the vibrant nightlife
