This parish was founded in 1997, thanks to a donation from the Corona Foundation. It houses the miraculous painting of the Virgen de la Salud (Our Lady of Health). The Risen Christ sector was established as a parish in 2001 under the guidance of Father Guillermo Vargas. The construction of the temple was completed in 2008, and it was consecrated in 2009.
The Sanctuary has a rich history dating back to 1739 when José Pérez brought the image of Our Lady of Sorrows, known for her miracles, from Spain. After being donated to the Church of Bojacá, the image was recognized as the town's patron saint and was enthroned as Our Lady of Health of Bojacá. Today, the image is located in the left nave of the church.
The Sanctuary is renowned for being a source of countless conversions and for the protection it offers the faithful who seek blessings for their health, homes, and vehicles. Known as "Small Rome," the Sanctuary reflects a deep devotion and the Virgin's call to Christian life.
*This year, the shrine will serve as a place of grace for pilgrims seeking plenary indulgence and spiritual consolation—a space where faith is strengthened and hope is renewed.

- The sanctuary is located in the municipality of Bojacá, 37 km from Bogotá, in the Sabana Occidente province, accessible via Calle 13.
