If you are a salsa lover, make sure not to miss the festival that "Bogotá, your home" is celebrating in tribute to the best of this musical genre. The 25th edition of Salsa al Parque will be held this weekend, October 5th and 6th, at Simon Bolivar Park.
The line-up looks fantastic. Great legends such as Tito Nieves, Rey Ruiz, the Orquesta Original de Manzanillo, The Latin Brothers, and Guayacán Orquesta, among others, delight salsa fans with the best of their repertoire.
Other international guests who will make both locals and international travelers visiting our city dance include the Orquesta Original de Manzanillo, one of the most iconic Cuban music groups; Alaín Pérez, an outstanding Cuban performer; Salserín, from Venezuela; and Michel El Buenón, from the Dominican Republic.
According to the District Institute of the Arts (Idartes), the legendary orchestra La 33 and Cali Flow Latino, which fuses urban genres such as reggaeton and hip hop in its musical proposal, will also perform. Female talent will be represented by Son Mujeres, performing for the first time at the festival. And the Bogotá quota will be made up of Kabala Ensamble, El Santos, Mar Caribe, La Radio Bembé, La Guabalosa, Labia Fina, El Santos, Mar Caribe, Mao Escobar and Sus Rolos Band.
