- Private vehicle: Drive south-north on Avenida Circunvalar up to Calle 71. At this point, you will find the entrance. The place doesn't offer parking.
- TransMilenio: Go to Calle 72 station, exit east, and walk along Calle 71 passing by Carrera 7 until you find a sign indicating the beginning of the path "Ronda Urbana de la Quebrada La Vieja." Follow the route until you reach the Avenida Circunvalar which will lead you to the beginning of the trail..
- SITP or bus:Identify the nearest route that leaves you at the bus stop on Carrera Séptima and Calle 71. Take the eastbound direction to Avenida Circunvalar where you will find the entrance to the trail
- You can also get there by cab.
- The trail goes along a stretch of the La Vieja Creek, which rises at 3,200 meters above sea level and flows into the Salitre River.
- This ecosystem is home to animals such as weasels and squirrels, as well as birds such as the Andean guan and the Andean undulated antpitta.
- The access to the La Vieja Creek trail is located on Calle 71 and Avenida Circunvalar. It is open from Tuesday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on weekends from 6:00 a.m. to noon.
- Tours are limited to groups of 30 people, so it is necessary to make a reservation in advance through the website of the Aqueduct of Bogotá. Pets are not allowed.
