Bogotá is a city of 163,000 hectares that shines for its green areas, which cover 75 percent of its extension, and the Guadalupe - Aguanoso trail is one of those places that prove it. This trail is part of the Bosque Oriental de Bogotá Protected Forest Reserve located in the Santa Fe locality. - Private Car: Take the Avenida Circunvalar to the south; when you arrive at the Universidad Distrital Vivero Seat, take the exit to the left towards Choachí. At about 6.5 km, you will find the detour to the Guadalupe Sanctuary. Paid parking is available at the trailhead.
- TransMilenio: Get off at Tercer Milenio Station and walk to Carrera 10 and Calle 6. There, you will find the transportation companies operating buses to Choachí and Guadalupe. Keep in mind that from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., public service vehicles provide service from Calle 6 between Carrera 10 and Avenida Caracas to the Guadalupe sanctuary and back.
At the top of this trail, you'll be 3,556 meters closer to the stars, making it one of the most recommended places for nature tourism in the capital. It is also administered by the Bogotá Aqueduct and Sewage Company and guarded by the military police. T
The Guadalupe Aguanoso Trail starts on the opposite side of the entrance of the famous church on Guadalupe Hill and extends 4.3 km.
It starts with wide wooden stairs that lead to pine forests and ends with a narrow cobblestone path, culminating in a breathtaking viewpoint of the city.
